At the age of 18, Devesh founded Vee Jay Group and set up a factory in his hometown Moradabad in 1996. His journey since has been an inspiration to many. He had always aspired to be an entrepreneur and his hardwork and perseverance has gotten him this far. Although his family business was Jewelry making, he was always drawn towards handicrafts. Creativity came very naturally to him. After running his business for 8 years, he had a new partner, his wife Rashi Jindal.

 

Just a few days into the marriage, they both had became partners in the business and have been working together since. They both come from a diverse, deep rooted business background. All these years into running a business, they have gained immense knowledge of all sorts of materials. Over these years, along with becoming successful entrepreneurs, they have become environmentally conscious and purpose driven, mainly towards women artisans who have been empowered.

In 2017, Devesh and Rashi made the conscious decision of relocating to Pune to reestablish a new venture in the field of handicrafts as VEE JAY HOME. Their experience of over 25 years in Handicraft manufacturing and exports has been an asset to the company. They train and employee new artisans, mostly women, which has empowered them in their lives.

Their vision for VEE JAY HOME has been to expand handicrafts, create social awareness and empower women artisans.
